Sensing the time was right to accelerate MagicCup Cafe’s growth through digital marketing, co-founder My Lynn Nguyen reached out to the Joieful team. Up to this point, Magic Cup had tried launching a few campaigns but had been struggling to keep track of their marketing ROI.

Joieful’s growth marketing team worked closely withMy Lynn to build a funnel that would attract and retain brand loyalists in the face of rising competition.

Together we decided on several new tactics, including:

Creating attractive offers to incentivize rewards program signups

Working with Magic Cup, we set an objective of driving ad dollars toward the rewards program, a platform that would allow us to contact customers and trace their engagement activity at any time (making ROI more trackable). We decided to incentivize rewards program signups through attractive ad offers such as one-time discounts and giveaways, making sure all offers made sense according to Magic Cup’s customer acquisition budget.

Creating a drip campaign within the rewards program

Once users signed up for the rewards program online, we thenhad to push them through MagicCup’s actual doors. To do this, the Joieful team created a series ofdrip text messages that would remind potential customers of their outstanding discount, announcing the markdown as a “limited-timeoffer” to create a sense of urgency. This drip campaign resulted in aredemption rate of over 30%, the highest ever recorded for any Magic Cup voucheroffer.‍

03.

Creating a multimedia content funnel to drive rewards program signups

After we fortified the funnel, we created a content plan with Magic Cup that included videos, photos, and graphics promoting the company’s products and rewards program. Once the content plan successfully drove customers into the store, we expanded ad objectives to product education and online ordering to foster a diversity of sales opportunities.
